What is the last book you read? I would love to say something profound, but it was Tom Clancy’s Locked On. As a friend once said, we need a little mind bubblegum every once in a while.
The last concert you attended? Of course it was Sheryl Crow, but I think we are all at that one. Outside of DTP, it was George Thorogood. That man can rock.
What is your favorite virtue? Imagination. I think we could do with a few more Walt Disney’s in this world.
If you could give one piece of advice to your 10-year-old self, what would it be? Eat as much cake and pie and as you can, because when you get older you’ll wish you did.
Who are your heroes in real life? Tuskegee Airmen.
Intuition or rationale? I don’t think it could be one or the other. I think to be successful in business and life, it has to be a combination of both.
What is your greatest fear? Spiders. Walking through a spider web in the middle of the night is the worst. I think the government should adopt that as torture instead of water boarding.
What is your idea of happiness? Just about any conversation with my 5-year-old son Elvis.
In one sentence, what does the future of Downtown Las Vegas look like to you? What we are all doing downtown as individuals is incredible, but the true potential will be the fabric that we weave together. Collectively we are making a place for family, love, happiness, and creativity. A place we’d be proud to call home.
Stones or Beatles? Beatles. All you need is love.
